The company, looking forward of EMS certificate for ISO14000, considers environmental protection as an important portion of the company's corporate culture, so that when we draw our plan and carry out our work, we make environmental protection a part of our duty. We are working towards an assurance system for environmental protection to implement the environmental policy strictly to meet the standards set by ISO14001.

SPPL tries in all aspects to provide a safe and healthy working environment for its staff and related personnel. We have established a sound occupational safety and health management system. The company has a chief supervisor in the head-office for safety matters, and in each project, there is a person specifically appointed for safety or a safety team for large project.

The implementation of safety management system assures safe and civilized operation at all projects. With the light injury accident rate below 3‰ and no serious accidents of personnel, equipment and fire, the company has been regarded as pioneer in this aspect in the sector. We are working hard to have the Occupational Safety and Health Management Certificate for ISO 18000.
